    Current Position:
Non-tenured assistant professor (Ricercatore RTDa) at the Department of Physics of the University of Padua.

    Past positions and education:
I received a MSc in Physics in 2010 and a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology in 2013, from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. I spent half of my Ph.D. as visiting student at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, Germany.
I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Neural Computation group, led by Stefano Panzeri, of the Italian Institute of Technology (2014-2018) and at Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento. There I was involved first (2018-2021) in the Complex Multilayer Networks Lab led by Manlio De Domenico, and later (2021-2023) in the Health Emergencies Center led by Stefano Merler.

    Research interests

I study the Dynamics of Complex Systems, with specific focus on Biological Systems. I use network theory, statistical physics, and data analysis tools to work on both theory and applications.
My research interests include brain dynamics, neural networks, spreading processes, nonlinear dynamics and chaos.
